A comedian Njugush has confirmed that he and Celestine Ndinda, popularly known as Wakavinye, have separated.

The father of two and Kavinye, who have been dating since their university days, have broken the hearts of many Kenyans.
What happened between Njugush and Wakavinye?
Rumors about the couple’s separation started when blogger Edgar Obare claimed that they had separated.
Anonymous user of Instagram he cited cheating as the basis for the breakup, but that claim has never been proven.
Kenyans asked the two to reconsider their separation, although a close source had revealed that the two had filed for divorce.
It is alleged that they were waiting for a custody case for their children, and the comedian had moved out of their house in Ruiru.
In his statement, Njugush revealed that he and the mother of his children separated in 2025 after much thought.
He added that for him and the Kavinye, taking care of their children was their top priority. Njugush asked fans for privacy and understanding as they went through the chapter.
“Last year, we made the decision to separate after much consideration and with mutual respect. We have been co-parenting together, and our children remain our highest priority. We continue to support each other and kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this next chapter.”
