That fan of Manchester City who went viral for taunting Arsenal with a bottle during their game against Chelsea has now spoken out for the first time.

The fan was seen ‘drinking Arsenal tears’ as they tore it up Chelsea at Stamford Bridge to reach six points from the leaders.
The win ensured that they put the pressure on Arsenal as they still have one game in hand and host the Gunners on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
Chelsea were the better of the two teams in the first half and even had a goal conceded for offside, but Manchester City came back with more motivation after the break.
Goals from Nico O’Reilly, Marc Guehi and Jeremy Doku did the damage, but instead of Chelsea getting a defeat, the pain was being felt in North London.

TV cameras caught the Manchester City fan, now identified as Tal Rehman, criticizing Arsenal for the draw. Speaking to Sky Sports, Rehman said he got a bottle when they played Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
“This time last year, when we played Arsenal at the Etihad, we sat next to the Arsenal bench, and my son and I asked for a drink, you know, because it was something we needed. And obviously, they gave us these bottles, and I never thought; we brought the bottles home.”
“I thought I’d take it to London. If I see anybody in Euston or any Gooners in North London, I’ll just show them, “Got your bottle, son?” you know. And the next thing I know, I’m on the pitch, and then I realized they had it in the bag. And when we went 3-0 up, I thought, showtime darling, showtime. So the bottle came out, and there I was, I don’t know, and I’m stunned.”
Rehman insists that he meant no disrespect.
“It’s just a joke, so people out there have to understand that. It’s a joke. I’m not a tribal fan, I’m a football fan. I respect the game, I respect the fans, I respect the rules, everything.”
