NAIROBI – AFC Leopards suffered a major blow in their quest to end their Kenya Premier League title drought after losing 3-0 to Kenya Police at the Nyayo Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Ingwe entered the game wanting to take advantage of the loss Gor Mahia on Tuesday, the league leaders lost 1-0 against Tusker in Kirinyaga.
Leopards, second in the table with 55 points, were looking to finish the day on top – one point ahead of their rivals.
However, the defending league champions had other ideas, taking the lead through Burkina Faso striker Yves Koutiama after just six minutes.
Eric Zakayo then added the second in the 31st minute following Daniel Sakari’s pass.
The animals were holding onto the grass and things got worse.
With half time approaching, Afande made the result 3-0 through Charles Ouma’s goal.
