Kevin, aged 24, revealed that he invested over KSh 1 million from his savings to start a hotel business in Kasarani, hoping to make a profit from his investment to build his future.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the young man said his business started to collapse as soon as he started it, as he would spend many days without getting customers, and this broke his heart.

“The lack of customers and the difficult business environment made success in the business very difficult. I thought the future would be better, but unfortunately, it got worse, and although I reached the one-year mark, the business could not sustain itself. I had to close,” he said.

In the video of TikTokshared the harrowing moment of carrying her belongings from the hotel before it closed, a decision she admits was not easy to make.

“I have since returned to my home in Embu, but I hope to come back stronger. I am begging anyone who can help me get back on my feet, please help me,” he added.
