How much do Kenyans pay for fuel?

After protest from Kenyans, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) revised fuel prices on Wednesday, April 15.

The energy regulator maintained the price of kerosene while reducing the price of super petrol and diesel in its latest statement.

As a result, the price of super petrol and diesel at petrol stations in Nairobi has dropped by KSh 9.37 and KSh 10.21 per liter respectively.

From Thursday, April 16, fuel will be sold at KSh 197.60, diesel at KSh 196.83, and kerosene at KSh 152.78.

This followed the Minister of National Treasury John Mbadi reduce the Value Added Tax (VAT) from 16% to 8%.
