“I arrived, and I realized that he had left the house, and when I asked, I realized that one of the houses that were being demolished had fallen on him. He had been called to play football, but his football shoes, uniform and football were all there,” he said.
“I work as a domestic worker; I need help to take the boy to his ancestors in Luanda for burial,” said Akoth.

What kind of boy was Andrew?
According to Andrews’ grandmother, he was an obedient child, and the last time she saw him, she volunteered to fetch him water.
“Later, he brought her food, and the next day, I heard that there was an incident, and we started looking. Her father said that there was something he was doing to her and that made the family calm,” said the lady.
In the morning, they went to work, but at 12 pm, Andrew’s sister, who followed up on the matter, saw her brother’s pictures online, and they looked for Andrew in the morgue; then he realized that his brother was the only unknown.
“I visited the family of the late Andrew Otiato, a Class 10 student at Olympic High School, who is mourning his tragic death following the demolition of Highrise Ward, where a building collapsed, killing three people on the spot,” he said.
Andrew’s family is now appealing for help to help bury their son. His mother, Eunice Akoth Omolo, calls the good samaritans for any help: 0704784231
