How is Baby Eagle?

Sonko also spoke about Mtoto Tai, who watched his mother being stabbed and knew that she had been rushed to the hospital, and reported that the little boy did not know that his mother was dead yet.

“I was reminded that children have a special kind of love, pure, innocent, and real. Like Baby James yesterday, he ran directly to me, not knowing the pain around him. He does not understand that his mother, Anita, is no longer there; she has been taken away in a painful and cruel way,” he said.

“What hurts the most is that this tragedy happened in front of him, a child too young to understand such fear. Since yesterday, he has been asking me only one thing: Let’s go to the hospital, I want to see my mother. Those words hurt me a lot, because in his heart, he still believes that his mother is not well that he will see her again,” added Sonko.

Sonko reported that his heart was bleeding, because no child deserves that kind of pain, and he prayed that God would protect Baby Tai and surround him with his love for a future full of peace, strength, and hope, the kind that his mother dreamed of for him.

What did the Kenyans say about the event?

Sheila Wangi:

“This reminds me of my childhood, at least she is surrounded by people who love her unlike me. I found out that my mother was not alive from my uncle because he would threaten to beat me and tell me that I will follow my mother in her death. Those words hurt my heart but they became normal to me because they were like daily bread and he was happy when he said them until today. I have not forgotten that I was just a child at that time. I am innocent.”

Moses Gitonga:

“Jesus said, ‘Let the little ones come to me. He also emphasized that we have to have true love like them to see heaven! The devil is a liar! Imagine the trauma that man will live with for the rest of his life!”

Robert Robert:

“I have learned that children are the purest form of what God intended for us to be..just love without regret and stay in the hope of good..also God answers the crazy prayers of the little ones more quickly..that is advice..God opens your doors because the little ones talk to him quietly.”
