Njugush and Celestine met again at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC), where they were studying, and fell in love.

The former lovers, who inspired many, were together for 14 years before fans began to see cracks in their marriage.

Njugush and Celestine got married in a glamorous wedding in December 2016, and in December 2025, they did not celebrate their wedding anniversary, leaving fans with a lot of speculation. Months later, crazy-eyed netizens spotted the mother of two without her wedding ring and that content creators had stopped liking each other’s social media posts and stopped posting photos together.

Did Njugush and Celestine Ndinda break up?

On Tuesday evening, April 21, Njugush announced her split from her college sweetheart, leaving fans heartbroken.

The award-winning content creator revealed that they decided to separate in 2025 and have been raising their two sons together.

“Last year, we made the decision to separate after much consideration and with mutual respect. We have been co-parenting together, and our children remain our top priority. We continue to support each other and kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this next chapter,” she shared on Instagram and disabled the comment.

The ad drew mixed reactions from netizens, with many hoping it was a joke.

The mother of two, who has been working hard to achieve her desired body, shared a post-workout photo and video showing her progress.

In the photo, the content creator took a picture in front of a mirror and decorated it with Chronixx’s song Ain’t to giving in.

Why did Celestine Ndinda cry?

In a separate story, Celestine shared a video after participating in the Two Oceans Race held in Cape Town, South Africa, on April 12. The content creator participated in the 21km half marathon and won a medal.

The mother of two was heartbroken after completing the race and vowed to write a book soon.

While Celestine was writing history in South Africa, Njugush was busy raising children. The comedian shared a video at his home in Ruiru, helping his sons with their school work. The father of two lamented how difficult the CBC curriculum was, especially for parents.
