Veteran Tanzanian musician Ali Kiba has opened up about his absence from fellow artiste Juma Jux’s high-profile wedding.
Speaking to Tanzanian station, on Friday, July 4, 2025, Ali Kiba explained that he and Jux are not in regular contact, which may have influenced the decision not to invite him.
The Bongo icon added that he does not consider himself part of Jux’s close circle and respects the couple’s choice regarding their guest list.
Clarifying on beef claims, he mentioned that he had previously communicated with Jux in Zanzibar, indicating that there is no underlying conflict between them.
In addition, Huku hitmaker added that he also did not invite Jux to his own wedding.

Jux on wedding invite
Ali Kiba’s explanation comes after Jux, in a prior interview, disclosed that some Tanzanian artiste, including Alikiba and Harmonize, were not invited to his wedding due to a lack of regular communication, rather than any personal issues.
