Former First Lady Margaret Kenyatta has turned another year old, with Kenyans online celebrating the event with an outpouring of love and congratulations.

Margaret celebrated her 62nd birthday on 8 April. Although he did not make any public appearances or share any messages on the networks, Kenyans made sure he still felt the love, with the networks being filled with messages of celebration.
How did Kenyans celebrate Margaret Kenyatta?
In various social media platforms, Kenyans honored her for her leadership and the contribution she made during her time as First Lady together with the former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Many highlighted the important initiatives he developed, while X internet influencer, Alinur Mohamed, was among those who gave deep compliments praising his contribution to public service.
In his message, he wrote: “Happy birthday to the most beautiful first lady Kenya has ever had, Mama Margaret Kenyatta, as she turns 62 today, we thank her for the Linda Mama Program, the Margaret Kenyatta Institute, the Beyond Zero Campaign, 52 fully mobile clinics in all 47 counties, and Medical Trips.”
The Linda Mama program is a government-sponsored program that aims to reduce maternal and infant mortality by providing free prenatal, delivery and postnatal services to mothers and infants.
The Beyond Zero campaign, launched in 2014, aimed to reduce preventable maternal and child deaths and stop the transmission of HIV from mother to child.
It also expanded access to health services through mobile clinics, medical trips and widespread health awareness.

Other Kenyans also celebrated Margaret’s long-term relationship with former President Uhuru Kenyatta, while some admired their relationship and even expressed the hope of finding such life partners.

Uhuru celebrated his 64th birthday on 26 October 2025 in a surprise celebration that caught him off guard during a wedding ceremony.
