The Ojwang’ family visited Nevnina’s parents, where a colorful ceremony known as ‘nyombo’, according to Luo culture, took place.

Despite her absence, her family performed every step of the traditional nyombo ceremony, officially making Nevnina a wife even in her husband’s absence.

The mother of one shared the news on her page TikTokattaching a touching note that showed how deeply moved he was by the ceremony.

She expressed happiness and gratitude to her late husband’s family for fulfilling her promise to marry him, even after death.

“A promise fulfilled even in absence. I am filled with humility and gratitude to his family and friends for honoring our marriage. Love does not live even in death. My heart is full of gratitude. I will always love you, Father G,” he wrote.

She wore a beautiful green sleeveless dress with black patterned, tight body and a black corset, completing the look that was perfect for a traditional bride, also wearing elegant black high heels.

The young widow was also accompanied by her bridesmaids, who wore dresses made from the same fabric but in different styles, adding color and glamor to her special day.

The Ojwang’ family was seen in the photo bringing the cows to Nevnina’s parents’ compound, where they were greeted with joy and happiness.

His father and mother led the procession, showing unwavering love and support to their son-in-law, who was widowed too soon after the death of their only son.

Police officers, who arrested him for allegedly publishing a statement insulting a senior police officer, transferred him to Nairobi.
