Schollah’s inspirational message to netizens
User of Instagram Schollah uploaded a touching video from their family grave, showing how she takes care of the well-preserved graves.
Although the graves seemed similar in structure and materials, he focused on one particular grave, cleaning it carefully.
“Don’t allow yourself to feel weak because you don’t have a parent, you don’t have someone to rely on, or you don’t have someone to look after you. No✋ Thank God, then remind yourself, ‘I am a hero.’ Wipe your tears, your life will go further than you can imagine. The most important thing is that you are alive and healthy,” part of his caption read.
Schollah knelt down as he washed a grave, which he sadly revealed belonged to his father, whom he had recently buried.
Schollah shows family graves
His father had died a few weeks ago, and he was still mourning and struggling to accept the loss.
“There comes a time when we have to accept that nothing lasts forever in this world. January is an unforgettable month because as a family, we lost our beloved father. January is also a month in which my parents were very happy because I was born,” he added.
He used clean water to clean the grave while maintaining his composure despite the emotional moment, showing how much he still cares for them.
The cemetery was surrounded by banana plants, and the environment looked green and peaceful, with several houses visible in the background.
People on the internet are talking about Schollah’s story
Social media users gave mixed reactions:
rodrickkasyanju: “Read Matthew 23:27, Ecclesiastes 9:5, John 5:27-28, and Matthew 22:32. It says I am the God of the living… and we should not worship the dead.”
clinford_mbaga: “They died, but according to the scriptures I cannot be busy with graves… the dead do not know a word, they are waiting for the resurrection.”
kekuuu_muro: “I grew up without parents. Those who still have parents should appreciate them. I never knew mine, and it hurts even now at 36 years old. Sometimes I cry because there are things I wish I could go through with them.”
jack_line_samweli: “How do you find the strength to talk to your parents when the grave has grass? Let us build our lives.”
nayoyoo6: “Someone asked me why I have never heard you talk about your father.”
