- Uganda’s Chief of Defense Forces, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has sparked international attention after he intervened in the growing tension in the Middle East involving Iran, the United States, and Israel
- The outspoken general openly declared his support for Israel, saying that the Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF) was ready to be mobilized if called upon to assist in the conflict.
- Iran is now laughing at Muhoozi’s remarks, harshly likening him to an entertainer rather than a serious soldier.

The army chief, in recent days, has made it clear that he has chosen a side in the ongoing Middle East war pitting Iran against the United States and Israel.
Muhoozi has already announced that the Ugandan People’s Defense Forces are ready to mobilize and support Israel in the war.
He said that it was Israel’s responsibility to ask for help from their ‘Ugandan brother’ who is ready to fight.
Muhoozi’s widespread remarks are attracting Iran’s attention
In a now-deleted post on X, the army chief suggested that Uganda would defeat Iran militarily within weeks.
According to Muhoozi, the UPDF will need only 14 days to exercise its authority over Tehran.
‘It cannot take us more than 2 weeks to capture Tehran. The UPDF brigade is sufficient for the job,” Muhoozi wrote.
In a brief response, Iran dismissed Muhoozi’s claims, describing him as a new entertainment attraction in Africa.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the latest to entertain you on Africa’s Got Talent,” Iran wrote.
