The family buried Ballot on March 23 in Kositei, Tiaty, county of Baringo County. The MP mourned his son, saying he was a unique boy who wanted to make a difference in the world.

“My son did not need to raise his voice to be heard; his presence alone drew attention. People listened to him when he spoke, not because he forced it, but because what he said made sense. Ballot had the spirit of adulthood; he was wise beyond his years,” he shared.

Ballot’s mother, Immaculate Kassait, in her condolence message, recalled a beautiful moment when Ballot was born in August 2011.
