In January, she went viral after pleading with married women to stay in their matrimonial homes, stressing how difficult it is for many single women to find partners.
During the sermon, he warned against leaving because of minor issues, suggesting that patience is necessary to fight the “dark forces” trying to break the union.
What did Elizabeth Mokoro say about the second wife?
In a video circulating on Facebook, he warned women to avoid marrying as a second wife because the union is not recognized by God in any way.
In his words:
“Never brag when you are the second or third wife, that you are a wife, you are not. You are a rival, you are a passing cloud that is not recognized by the sky. If you are here as a second or third wife, your children should not take you. Let it end with you.”
He said that some women are deceived by men who claim to be divorced, but later find out that there is another family.
“Let no one deceive you, the first wife will always return. If she does not return when her husband is alive, she will have to return when her husband dies. Do not brag that you are a wife; you are a refugee in Daadab,” he added.
