Migori Mother Loses Her Son Who Was Stabbed and Killed One Day After Her Husband Passed Away

A family in Nyabohanse, Migori county, has gone into mourning following the sudden and painful death of their loved one.

Brian Marwa is reported to have lost his life after being attacked and killed by his friend, which left the family in shock and great pain.

He was reportedly stabbed to death following an altercation that turned violent and ended in tragedy.

A witness gave a detailed account of what happened on the night of Wednesday, March 18.

“He took out a knife and tried to stab Brian, but I was blocking him. The suspect had the intention of harming Brian, not me. Every time I moved, he would pull back the knife. If I had pulled away, he would have attacked me, but his main target was Brian. In the third attempt, he came from behind, pulled me away, and succeeded in stabbing him,” said the witness.

Brian’s wife Marwa speaks with emotion

At home, Brian’s wife found it difficult to accept the reality of the death, trying to contain herself as she cried for her husband.

He told with emotion how he got the news of the incident from frightened family members shortly after it happened.

“I had heard rumors that Brian had been rushed to the hospital, so I called my brother to confirm. He said it was true, and I asked him to accompany me to the hospital. On the way, my aunts followed me and told me that my husband had already died,” Prisca Mogoe said in tears.

Brian’s mother, Catherine Nyangwisi, was overwhelmed with grief after losing her son in a brutal way.

She revealed that she was still grieving the recent death of her husband, which made the tragedy even more difficult.

“Why do people kill each other? Everywhere is just violence. I had lost my husband who was also killed. Not even a moment has passed, now my son is also gone. He was my only hope. Now I have nothing and no one,” she cried.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are currently looking for a suspect who has not yet been arrested.

The family of Dominic Munuve expressed their grief and asked the police to arrest the suspect and ensure that justice is done.
