Gustavo Rides: Videos from the scene of the accident where the X influencer died have emerged

The community of motorcyclists and X users in Kenya has gone into mourning following the sudden death of popular influencer Gustavo Rides, also known as Elvis Juma or Luhya Kidd.

Gustavo died on Sunday, March 15, after his Ducati Streetfighter 848 motorcycle he was riding with his wife Diana was involved in a fatal accident.

Sources who spoke to TUKO.co.ke said the accident happened on the Northern Bypass while they were traveling from Marurui to Ruaka.

What happened at the scene of the accident that killed Gustavo?

Videos and photos from the scene of the crash have now emerged, showing the horrific nature of the collision. A photo circulating shows a silver Toyota Probox being towed away, with extensive damage from the driver’s door to the rear door.

The collision was so severe that the rear wheel on the driver’s side came off completely.

Nearby there was Gustavo’s motorcycle which was badly damaged in the steering wheel. The headlight and windshield were broken, and fuel was spilled on the road.

A video witnessed by TUKO.co.ke showed a flat tire in the middle of the road, while good Samaritans rushed to the area to help.

Reports indicate that the car was trying to make a U-turn when the accident happened.

It is understood that Gustavo’s death occurred just hours after his last message on X, where he expressed gratitude for being alive.

The emergence of videos of the crash scene has caused an outcry online, with fans and other motorcyclists expressing shock and sadness. Many talked about the fragility of life while offering condolences.

Like her husband Gustavo, Diana also posted a message on social media a few hours before the fatal accident.
