Bosco Bitanda: Condolences as the Family View the Bodies of a Famous Ugandan Businessman and His 2 Sons

The East African Community mourns the death of a famous businessman, Bosco Ssenyonjo, popularly known as Bosco Bitanda.

The Maska businessman died in a tragic accident on the morning of Monday, March 16. Bosco was driving with his family on the Kampala-Entebbe Highway towards Entebbe International Airport when they were involved in the accident.

According to Monitor, the accident happened at 6:30 am on March 16 at the Mpala-Kajjansi interchange. The website further reported that the Kampala traffic spokesperson, SP Michael Kananura, disclosed that Bosco and his two children perished in the accident.

“The driver was traveling with his family when he reportedly lost control of the car due to speeding on the highway. The car first hit a street light pole and then hit a road pole before overturning several times. Three passengers of the car, including the driver, died on the spot while two others suffered serious injuries,” Kananura said in a statement.

Photos of the wreckage of a white Toyota Land Cruiser were shared on social media by witnesses who were at the scene at the time of the accident.

Is Bosco Bitanda buried?

The businessman and his two children will be buried at their Nyendo Kasaana home in Masaka.

Images of families receiving the bodies of their loved ones on the morning of March 17 in Masaka broke hearts. Heartbroken family members mourned the three, while others were overcome with emotion.

According to the media Ugandathe family of the three is preparing for funeral arrangements.

Motorcyclist Gustavo and his wife died in a road accident

In separate news, TUKO.co.ke reported that Gustavo, popularly known as Luhya Kidd, was involved in a fatal accident on the Northern Bypass in Nairobi on Sunday, March 15.

Gustavo and his passenger, Diana Mwai, perished in the accident. The influential cyclist died on the spot while his wife died while receiving treatment at a local hospital. Diana’s last social media post complaining about her health resurfaced after her death, leaving netizens with more questions than answers.

The two lovers died just five months after welcoming their first child.
