A video has emerged of Rarieda Member of Parliament, Otiende Amollo narrating how his elder sister, veteran politician Elizabeth Ongoro, helped him pay his school fees.

Amollo previously recounted that he came from a very humble family and explained in detail how education changed his life.

His sister, Ongoro, who is a former member of parliament for Kasarani, also previously revealed that she sold several of her buildings and properties to help finance the previous presidential campaigns of Raila Odinga.

He explained that his great financial sacrifices were motivated by great faith and desire to see him rise to the presidency, which he believed was the right direction for the country.

Did Elizabeth Ongoro pay Otiende Amollo’s school fees?

Despite the election results, Ongoro said he does not regret the move, stressing that his contributions were the result of his unwavering loyalty and personal investment in the movement.

In a video shared on TikTok and Rarieda Times, Amollo shared how his sister influenced his life and maintained their closeness.

“We have a very close relationship. He was the one who sent me to Class One, those years ago. At that time, we were living in Maseno. He took me to class, and when he joined the university, he paid part of my school fees in Maranda, using what was called Boom at the time. And that was very helpful. And we have always been very close,” he said.

Some netizens did not know that the two politicians had a close relationship and wondered how they overcame the odds to make names for themselves.
