A video has emerged showing the new look of veteran player Denis Oliech, leaving Kenyans wondering if he is doing well.

The former captain of Harambee Stars he once confirmed that he does not regret rejecting an offer of Ksh 200 million to change his citizenship to Qatar in 2004 when he was only 19 years old.
He explained that patriotism and concern about strict labor laws and the possible mistreatment of foreign workers in the Gulf nation made him decide.

Did Jeff Koinange meet Dennis Oliech?
Now retired, the legendary striker insisted that playing the Kenyan “badge” was the best decision of his career, as it allowed him to maintain his independence and identity.
In a new video that went viral, fellow media anchor Jeff Koinange and fellow broadcaster, Patrick Igunza, were happy to meet the player and take a picture with him.
Jeff noted that he ‘grew up’ watching Oliech play while asking him to take pictures. The football player was a little worried before he finally joined them.
He was wearing a faded black T-shirt, and he looked frail even as he faked a smile and joined the two celebrities.
“Come take a picture, stand in the middle. We grew up watching you play all the games and score goals. Noma. Dennis the Menace, Oliech,” said Jeff.

Did Manchester United make an offer to sign Oliech?
Elsewhere, former coach of Harambee Stars, Jacob “Ghost” Mulee, revealed that the scouts of Manchester United they tracked Dennis Oliech during the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations with the intention of signing him.
