In the video from Sunday, March 8, it appears that the daughter had asked permission to leave their home to visit a friend 11 miles away.

However, the mother did not give that permission until the daughter gave important information about the family she was visiting.

Why did Jeridah Andayi oppose her daughter to visit her friend?

The refusal of the permission did not please the little girl, who looked at him with a confused look.

The first result occurred when Jeridah asked her daughter why she initially told her that she would only go five miles, but then realized that the distance was eleven miles.

The discrepancy made her wonder about other details of the visit, and made the mother want the full names of her visiting friend’s parents.

“The address you sent me, you said you only go five miles. The address says 11 miles, but it doesn’t match. Did you give me the correct address? You need to send it again, with the parents’ full names.”

Confused, the daughter responds angrily, asking her mother if she knows the names of her friends’ parents, to which Jeridah says yes. He even claims to know all the names three.

Unlike the way things are done in Kenya, Jeridah notes that the United States is a different country and culture, not like at home, where a simple message of M-Money you would reveal someone’s identity.

The mother then cited security reasons, saying that she would not allow her daughter to go to a house where the parents do not know.

Kenyans have joined the discussion, with many getting a glimpse of what it feels like to be a parent of young people in the United States, from Kenya.
