What did the tragedy teach Waihiga?

In other news, Waihiga once revealed that losing two close family members in 2021 and 2022 changed the way he looks at life.

He lost his father-in-law, the father of Joyce Omondiin June 2021 and later his sister in 2022.

Joyce’s father died after battling terrorism-related injuries for 23 years.

The writer said those painful losses reminded him how short life is and how some worldly things are not of great importance.
