The debate is gaining popularity in Kenya after a Russian man, Vladislav Liukov, aka Yaytseslav Truhov, filmed several Kenyan women he was picking up on the street and taking them to his home.

The videos were widely criticized, prompting the Kenyan government to ask the victims to come forward and record statements.

What did Larry Madowo say about the recording glasses?

However, it was later revealed that the Russian man was using glasses with a new technology, where the glasses have a camera.

There have also been reports of companies sending video from the glasses to a station in Nairobi to analyze what the glasses were capturing.

In Larry’s video, he puts on the glasses and uses them to record while showing people how to tell if they are working. He said:

“It records when this light is on. But that is not always visible to everyone, especially when you are far away. Some investigations claim that the videos recorded by these glasses are sent to Nairobi and are sent to Kenyan workers. But these workers see sensitive information, people sleeping together, or undisclosed credit cards. This is how you can know it is recording. When you are close, it is clear. When you are far away, it is not easy to know when you are recording,” he said.

Did another Russian man record Kenyan women?

In a separate report, a Russian man named Alex Ananasik was exposed for secretly filming Kenyan women in Nairobi and Mombasa to monetise the content on platforms like OnlyFans and Telegram.

Following the tactics of another recently exposed Russian content creator, Ananasik reportedly lured women back to his apartment to record intimate encounters, sometimes using hidden cameras.

The revelations sparked significant public outrage on social media, with many calling for action against the exploitation of local women for profit.
