Some people even told him that he would reach old age without having gained any wealth despite being a famous gospel musician.
“I remember sometimes people say words to you without knowing the silent battle you are going through. No one understands, so you are saved and you are serving God, but for someone who does not understand what you are going through, they can see that you are at the gates of hell. Someone tells you that you will retire with nothing. I never answered because I trusted God. I want to say that I have not served my God in vain,” he said.

He recalled how in 2020 he and his daughter went through a very difficult time to the extent that they failed to pay the house rent because they had no money. The house deposit was about KSh 26,000.
“You can’t work and leave with nothing. No one knows. If I were to tell the story of our life, we would tell it for a long time, but I want to thank God for my daughter Harmony. In 2020 we went through a lot; we didn’t know what to do. We were in a transition period. At that time I was even studying and we were looking for a house to live in. We didn’t have that money. The deposit was about 26 thousand shillings, and even the rent itself has not been paid, so we were wondering if we had money those,” he said.
During that difficult time, a man called Larry came into his life and helped him when he needed it most.
“We didn’t know what to do, but I thank God for my brother Larry. When he arrived at school, I was told there was a young man looking for me. I didn’t know him at the time. I don’t like to ignore people, but I didn’t know that you would be the helper of my destiny,” he added.
Larry also promised to build her a house, which made Mary thank him and wish her many blessings.
“He told me that he has not yet built his own house, but he decided in one of his projects that he would build it for me. God bless you with a bigger house and more land. May God also extend your life, and God’s angels surround you,” he said.
