He admitted that his reputation was badly damaged in his 30s, bringing him to a breaking point before he found a way to recover through his faith and the unwavering support of his wife, Zipporah.

What did Professor Hamo say about adultery?
In a new video he shared on his page TikTokHamo recalled how cheating affected his money and warned against getting lost in marriage.
“I have seen various effects. When I said the shortest path to poverty is when you cheat on your wife or husband, it is true. It is so hidden that we think your business failed because of the economy, and that is not true. When you destroy, the grace of God leaves you. And from there it is down hill, I told you not to argue with me, I know. I went through that. There were many times I wanted to do great things for my children, and things were difficult, and it was because I committed adultery,” he said.
According to Hamo, he was only talking about his mistakes to help those who may be heading in that direction. He denied claims that he is seeking fame.
“This is about life and death. A man’s company will collapse because he does not understand the spirituality of committing adultery. Ask yourself why your business was doing well until you ruined it by committing adultery with a secretary. Now you are at home, and you have papers; you have more merit than everyone else,” he added.
He added that he could lose everything and still rebuild with the grace of God and warned people to stop hurting their spouses.
“It is a spiritual matter, and let me tell you, it is not money that supports you in Nairobi but the grace of God,” he said further.
