The heartbroken mother of Johana Ng’eno is comforted by her son’s widow

The accident happened at about 10:45 pm in Chepkieb, Mosop, Nandi County.

What happened to the Ng’eno helicopter?

The private helicopter reportedly lost stability and crashed into a tree shortly after takeoff, following a slight delay due to bad weather.

All six people in the helicopter died, including Ng’eno, his personal assistant, a photographer, a journalist, a Kenya Forest Service (KFS) officer, and the pilot.

The plane caught fire immediately after hitting the ground near the village of Chepkieb.

Witnesses said the pilot initially made an emergency landing due to bad weather, but attempted to take off again after conditions appeared to have improved slightly.

The sad news of Ng’eno’s death has left his family and friends heartbroken.

His wife seemed unable to control her grief after receiving the news of her husband’s death.

In photos that surfaced recently, the widow was seen comforting her mother-in-law after arriving at their home in Nairobi.

In one photo, the two were sitting side by side, while the lawmaker’s mother couldn’t hold back tears, and her son-in-law hugged her with love.

In another, the widow of an MP was seen hugging her mother-in-law, photos that touched many Kenyans on social media.

Kenyans sympathized with the lawmaker’s mother and offered words of comfort. Here’s what they said:

In other news, Ng’eno celebrated his wife’s birthday with a touching message six days before her tragic death.

He shared a video presenting his wife with a bouquet of flowers in front of their beautiful children and ending with a romantic kiss.

His wife also shared a touching photo on Instagram to celebrate his special day.

Kenyans on social media gave touching comments after the video went viral. Some of them described the member of parliament as a Kalenjin man with sincere love for his family.
