Kairo lost his mother on February 15 after a long illness, and while announcing her death, he noted the lessons he learned from her.

At his funeral, it was only filmmaker Phil Karanja, who was arrested next to the X bigwig. This raised questions about where his famous friends were.

2mbili, who was close to Kairo and even led his fundraiser to get his bail to help him out of prison, denied that he missed the funeral.

He even revealed details about the private conversation he and Kairo had a few days before his mother died and what happened during the funeral.

“I have been mentioned in so many comments that I did not attend the funeral. One or two days before his mother’s death, Kairo told me, ‘brother, we have decided to let his mother go’. This is something that happened at the time of Shalkido’s death. We signed the document at KU. And Kairo told me the same thing, and I respected it, I never talked about it. I was with him, I never made a video, even when lighting candles, he asked me to make a video, and I told him I could not, it was more than content,” he said.

2mbili added that Kairo had given him permission to get videographers to attend the funeral, but he did not call anyone, nor did he record anything.

He added that when people were criticizing Kairo online, it was when he was trying everything to save his mother’s life.

“There is nothing to explain. Those fast to criticize you, where were they when we were with Kairo through the journey? I can confirm your presence all the while. Let those hypocrites say where they have been. That is why Kairo never involved them.”

“I don’t think you should explain anything, people will always talk about whether you do good or bad.”

When do TikTokers visit Cairo?

A day ago, TUKO.co.ke reported that Kenyan TikTokers are gathering and visiting Cairo on March 15 to show solidarity and support.

The plan came after observers noted the absence of Kairo’s famous friends at the funeral, leading many to feel he had been neglected during a difficult time.

However, the initiative received mixed reactions from netizens, with some warning Kairo to be careful of “fake sympathy” following the recent controversy where the public criticized TikToker Kaluma Boy’s personal spending after raising money for him.
