Arsenal and Manchester City both secured important wins this weekend as the 2025/2026 Premier League title race heats up.

Arsenal bounced back from a disappointing draw with Wolves to beat their North London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, 4-1 on Sunday.

The win was also a response to Manchester City reaching just two points after beating Newcastle United on Saturday.

The gap is back to five points, though Arsenal they have now played one more game, meaning they have just 10 games left, with Manchester City having 33 more points to fight for.

Comparing Arsenal and Manchester City matches

So, how do their next five matches compare, and where can the league win and lose?

Both clubs have no midweek commitments, but will be back in action next weekend when Manchester City travel to face Leeds United on Saturday evening. On paper, it looks like an easy match for Pep Guardiola’s side, but Leeds have lost just twice in their last 16 games and are also fighting to move further away from the relegation zone.

On Sunday, Arsenal will host them Chelsea in another London debit. It is a match they have recently dominated and will be heavily backed to win again.

After that, Manchester City will host Nottingham Forest, while Arsenal play Brighton and Hove Albion away. They will have cup matches on the weekend of March 7 and midweek before returning to the league, where Arsenal host Everton, while Manchester City are away against West Ham United.

The pair will meet for the first time in the Carabao Cup final on March 22 before the international break.

When they return in April, Manchester City travel to London to play Chelsea before returning home to host the league leaders on April 18. Before going to the Etihad, Arsenal have a home date against Bournemouth.

If both teams win all their games before they meet in April, Manchester City will have the chance to overtake Arsenal by beating them on home soil.

Opta’s supercomputer has named who will win the Premier League after the latest results which saw Arsenal regain the lead by five points, even though they have played a game more.

Arsenal are still favored to win the league, although their chances have dropped from 90% a week ago.

Only Arsenal and Manchester City have a chance, while the other teams have a 0% chance.
