Senator from Nairobi Edwin Sifuna he launched a modern campaign truck towards his Linda Mwananchi meeting to be held in Kakamega.

The car is decorated with the logo of Linda Mwananchi and painted in blue and white.
The long truck is also equipped with a powerful public address system.
It was communicated through Sifuna’s social media pages as preparations ramped up for the much awaited meeting in Kakamega.
Will DJ Spider be part of the Sifuna meeting?
Sharing photos of the modified truck via Facebook, Sifuna explained that the improvements were prompted by comments from supporters who identified audio challenges in the previous meeting held in Kitengela, Kajiado county.
“‘We saw you struggling with the sound’. So you were careful! They will not believe. Now, where are we going to cook the 20 chickens that were given to me here in Kakamega?” wrote Sifuna.
He disclosed that the donors not only donated the truck but also donated 20 chickens that will be cooked and distributed to supporters before Saturday’s event.
In a TikTok video, the famous DJ of Declaration of UnitySpider Freddy, is seen proudly displaying the truck while motivating the Kakamega rally.
“Don’t you know DJ, no, bring the mix? Check the animal. You know who I am, we are Sifuna,” he announced while showing the features of the car.
TUKO.co.ke understands that DJ Spider is expected to be part of the team that will deal with sound issues during the meeting.
Was Sifuna’s new truck damaged?
However, the celebrations did not last long. In what he described as a shocking incident, the new truck was vandalized shortly after Poisonous heading towards Kakamega.
Videos shared online show the car moving calmly before a large stone suddenly broke its windshield.
Passengers inside, who were recording video at the time, can be heard exclaiming before the driver pulled over.

Police officers later appeared at the scene. According to reports, the incident happened in Riat, near Kondele in Kisumu county.
Sifuna explained that the truck was “already christened,” meaning that it passed its first test earlier than expected.
However, he insisted that the truck must reach Kakamega for the scheduled meeting.

The meeting of Linda Mwananchi planned for Kakamega will be held in Amalemba grounds.
The event has been organized by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), which calls itself the “true opposition” against the current broad-based government.
