On Sunday, February 15, three police officers and one civilian were killed after the police car they were traveling in overturned.

According to the police report, the patrol car driven by Peter Maina had five people, including one citizen.

One officer died on the spot, while the second officer died after being rushed to Kithyoko Level Three hospital.

The third officer was transferred to Matuu Hospital Level Four but died on arrival. The citizen also died when he arrived at the station.
