In the last 24 hours, a man of Russian origin, identified as Yaytseslav, has been trending on various social networks, and not for the right reasons.

This follows revelations that he has been secretly recording private sessions with different women across Africa and releasing the videos on his social media pages.
His actions were recently exposed after he released a series of videos featuring Ghanaian women, which led to further discovery.
Yaytseslav is said to have shared videos of women from Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, and many other countries.
How does Yaytseslav meet women?
In those videos, he meets the women on the street or in supermarkets, introduces himself, and congratulates them.
“Hello, what’s your name? You look beautiful, I love you so much. Could you please share your phone number?” he is heard saying while approaching the women in some of the videos.
He shares these short videos on TikTok and YouTube for free, with full versions available only on his private Telegram channel, where he charges a monthly subscription of $5.
While some women reject his engagement, others agree and follow him to his house, where he continues to record their meetings before posting the videos on social media.
Does Yaytseslav use Meta glasses to secretly record women?
As outrage grew over his actions, many netizens began to speculate how he managed to film the women on the street without their knowledge.
Some suggested that he must have used Ray-Ban Smart Glasses, also known as Meta Glasses, to film the carefree women. This rumor emerged after he was seen wearing glasses similar to Meta’s equipment.

How do Meta Glasses work? The expert explains
Tuko.co.ke spoke to Brian Oreng’, a tech enthusiast, who gave insight into how the smart glasses work.
Oreng’ explained that the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses, which are worth up to KSh 60,000 in Kenya, have camera and audio capabilities.
He mentioned that, depending on the specifications, some of the glasses have a 12 megapixel camera and the ability to take photos and videos while on the go.
He also explained that the glasses come with powerful speakers that produce up to 50% more bass, allowing for calls and music.
“Some of the glasses offer up to 3K ultra HD resolution. They have a photo capture button, a touch pad for volume control, and open ear speakers. They also come with a built-in battery and need to be charged after a certain amount of use,” he said.
Was Baltasar Engonga arrested?
