- Shocking CCTV footage has shown a strange incident by a woman inside the church while worshipers continued to pray calmly

A CCTV video that has gone viral shows a woman entering the church hall while some worshipers are engrossed in prayer without knowing that she might have bad intentions.

The incident is said to have happened at Grace Mountain Church, where CCTV cameras captured the woman entering the church hall on Monday, February 9, at 6pm.
Some other believers were praying and did not pay attention to the woman, not knowing that she allegedly had bad intentions.
When he arrived inside the church, he was seen sprinkling something in various areas of the hall, but the act did not raise any suspicion, as those present may have thought it was a normal act of applying anointing oil to the place of prayer.

Later it was revealed that the substance he was pouring was flammable, and that he was preparing to burn the church regardless of who was inside.
After he finished sprinkling the substance, he lit a match and threw it into the church, which caused a fire to break out immediately and startled the worshipers who were sitting, who quickly got up to save their lives.
The fire quickly spread inside the hall, and the CCTV video did not show how the woman got out after carrying out the incident.
Grace Mountain Church releases a statement
The church in Ghana has issued a statement to confirm the incident of the attempted arson.
“Grace Mountain is a house of prayer, and our hall is open every day for people to come in and pray quietly. People come in voluntarily, sit down and pray individually, and this has been our tradition for many years. During the incident there was no service or program going on. The woman entered like any other person who came to pray,” said Pastor Enoch of the church.
Enoch explained that the believers present did not notice what was happening because they were immersed in prayer. However, CCTV inspectors noticed the incident but did not arrive in time to prevent the attack.

“With the help of God and the quick measures taken, the situation was controlled early and did not spread further. We are thankful that no life was interrupted. For reasons of safety, investigation and repair, the hall will remain closed until Thursday. We are fully cooperating with the relevant authorities and we are continuing with the necessary repairs during this period,” explained the statement.
The woman was later arrested and identified as Kesse Okyerewaa Koranteng.
According to the police, air conditioners, windows, donation boxes and several other things were destroyed in the incident, but the fire was extinguished before causing more damage.
