Gospel singer Kambua and her husband Jackson Mathu have remembered their late son, Malachi Manundu Muthiga Mathu, on what would have been his fifth birthday.

When did Malachi die?

It should be noted that Malachi died shortly after birth in February 2021.

Kambua has been struggling to recover from the tragedy. She has also experienced several tragedies of losing children, including miscarriage, while continuing her journey of faith and healing.

On Wednesday, February 11, the broadcaster used social media to share an emotional message to honor Malachi. Her husband also joined her to celebrate the day.

How did Kambua celebrate his late son’s birthday?

Both shared a picture of a beautifully decorated cake, which they bought to celebrate the day.

The cake was decorated with a soft cream frosting, changing from a creamy white color on the bottom to a shiny gold on the top, and decorated with small sprigs of flowers at the top and around the bottom.

A golden round turban with “Baby MM” written in elegant script was placed on top of the cake.

In the description of the photo, the gospel singer wished his late son a happy birthday in heaven and prayed for him to rest in eternal peace.

“Today would have been 5 years old, my beautiful son Malachi. Happy birthday, my child. Continue to rest in the arms of Jesus,” Kambua wrote.

Mathu, however, shared the picture on his Insta Stories without any explanation.
