An Expert About Snakes Mentions 4 Signs That Will Tell You A Snake Is Secretly Living With You In The House

Lagos, Nigeria: Veteran wildlife conservationist and snake expert, identified as Dr. Mark Ofua, has warned that it is possible to live with snakes for many years without knowing it.

Ofua was reacting to the tragic death of musician Ifunanya, popularly known as Nanya Music, who was sadly bitten by a snake and died in hospital after failing to receive proper treatment.

Later, the family and fans were surprised to discover that there were three more snakes in the house, and for many, it also made them shiver.

Speaking to legit.ng, Ofua, who founded the Saint Mark Animal Hospital, Lagos said that a snake can live in a person’s stomach without being detected.

According to Ofua, one way to know that there is a stranger in the house is to encounter a strange excrement.

“Now, if you have a rattlesnake living in the wild in your home, one way you can tell is when you see strange droppings, like snake droppings,” he said.

If a person hears rattling sounds in the closet in the room, then he may be living with a snake, and this may take a long time.

According to Ofua, if a snake moves among the dishes or other things in your storage room or closet, then a sound will be heard.

At this stage, one is expected to know by observing.

What did Ofua say about snake sounds?

The third sign is the sound that the snake makes when the snake has caught a mouse or a frog, and then the animal starts screaming trying to free itself.

“There is this special sound they make. If you hear that, then investigate. Those are the ways you can know that there are snakes in the house,” he said.

Bloor recalled petting the snake, thinking it was her dog, but later found out the truth when her husband turned on the light bulb.
