Horrifying CCTV footage shows when the driver of the Eldoret when he walked into a trap on his way home early Wednesday, February 4.

In the video that is going viral on social media, the driver, believed to be a taxi driver, was caught driving on a secluded road leading home, but unbeknownst to him, a diabolical plan to harm him was underway.
In the clip shared on Facebook, as the car approached the gate, three thugs on a motorcycle followed, and quickly, the motorcycle moved frantically in front of the car in an attempt to block the driver’s path.
However, the driver’s quick thinking helped him as he managed to quickly back out of the way with the thugs in pursuit.
When he reached the highway, he ran as fast as possible, saving his life from what appeared to be an ambush and a planned robbery.
CCTV Eldoret video sparks mixed debate
The video has caused a lot of reactions, with many suggesting various methods that the driver should have done to protect himself.
While many praised his life-saving behavior modification skills, they said driving against the thugs while still on a motorcycle was a quick way to derail their plan.
Others praised his calmness, admitting that they would have been overcome by fear and panic, which would have intervened and performed life-saving measures.

A man walks straight into a trap in Ruiru

The man had gotten up early so he could do some things, but as soon as he opened the gate, a feeling in his heart urged him not to go out in the dark.
However, he decided to ignore it, thinking he was just worried. As soon as he started to go out, he met two thugs who attacked him.
