Nakuru – Sadness and mourning have spread over a village in Kuresoi North following the death of a couple on Saturday, January 31.

K24 reported that a 33-year-old man, James Karanja, killed his wife, 30-year-old Marget Wamuyu, due to an unknown problem.

Who discovered the bodies of the Kuresoi couple?

The man is alleged to have committed suicide after killing his wife in what is suspected to be a domestic dispute, while the police informed that the initial investigation revealed that the couple had frequent arguments.

The bodies were first discovered by their 10-year-old daughter.

He told the police that he woke up on January 31, 2026, and found that his mother did not wake up as she was supposed to prepare breakfast for him.

The girl went to check, only to stumble upon the bodies of her parents.

Neighbors ran to help him when he had a seizure and when they arrived they encountered a strange incident.

They pointed out that there were frequent conflicts between the couple, which indicated the possibility of murder.

Initial reports indicated that the woman’s body had injuries to her head suspected to have been caused by a blunt instrument, with blood coming from her mouth and nose.

The bodies were moved to the mortuary pending post-mortem and other procedures, while the investigation into this tragic incident continues.

In another tragic incident, a family in Mbooni, Makueni County was left shocked after finding their son dead a few minutes after killing his wife in their room.

According to relatives, the father of three children and his wife had problems, and although there were several attempts to resolve the issues, the conflicts did not end completely.

The deceased’s brother explained that the couple had a history of conflicts, often involving him as a mediator, and their conflicts sometimes happened in public, even in the market.
