The family and friends of the former Miss Tourism Lilian Musau, are mourning the death of a woman who is remembered for her grace, perseverance and cheerfulness, following her death on the evening of January 27.

Lilian died at one o’clock at night after spending a month in the hospital, where she was receiving medical treatment.
How Lilian Musau died
According to a post shared by Adrian Chege, he faced his last weeks with courage and faith and died peacefully.
In a statement issued on behalf of Musau’s family, his brother Steve Musau described his death as a painful tragedy, but caused by spiritual comfort.

“Although our hearts are broken, we are comforted knowing that he is now in eternal rest,” the family said, noting their belief that he is now in the presence of God.
During his hospital stay, good Samaritans rallied around the family, offering prayers, blood donations and financial support.
The family expressed their sincere thanks to everyone who stood by them during this difficult time.
“We sincerely thank everyone for the prayers, blood donations, financial support, and love shown to our family during this difficult time,” the statement read.

Funeral arrangements are currently being finalized, with the service expected to take place on February 3 or 4. A final date will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.
As the family prepares to bury him, they have asked for prayers and continued support.
