On Monday, January 26, Amethyst Blumberg, a FedEx employee, suddenly felt the need to go to the bathroom, thinking it was a normal bowel movement.
However, while he was there, he felt the baby’s head descend through the birth canal.
Speaking to KENS 5, the woman said that she was very surprised because she did not know that she was pregnant during the entire period of 40 weeks of pregnancy, and she did not experience any symptoms of pregnancy.
This situation was strange for her because in her first pregnancy she got all the known symptoms.
“With my first child, I had all the symptoms, but with this one it was different. I didn’t get those symptoms; in fact, I was losing weight,” she said, adding that was the reason she did not know she was pregnant.
When she realized she was giving birth, Amethyst said she couldn’t get up from the toilet, so she opened the door and called for help.
“I remember feeling pain in my back when the pain started, and I felt the baby moving,” he added.
Moments later, the Johnston-Grimes Fire Department arrived just in time, just before Amethyst gave birth.
They arrived at 8:29 am, and by 8:33 am, the baby was already born safe and healthy.
The mother and child were later taken to the hospital, according to People.com. The now mother of two named the child Onyx King Easterlie.
