Land Confrontation

The lady has been in and out of the courtroom for decades, fighting to protect a piece of land that she says some influential people want to take away from her.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Halima said she only did it out of compassion.

“I just decided to help him because he couldn’t walk. He had gotten off the motorcycle with his brother, and I could see he was struggling a lot,” he said.

Language Challenges

He explained that the grandmother, who only speaks Kamba, could not express herself well.

“She is 105 years old and a widow. She could not express herself well because of the language barrier,” he added.

According to the official, the widow was told to return to court the next day, although it was not clear what case she was pursuing.

“They were told to come back tomorrow, but he said he wanted to go to the Technology department,” Halima pointed out.

Fear of Using Elevators

The woman refused to use the elevator because of fear.

“I decided to help him out of humanity, he seemed depressed and could not speak well,” he added.
