This situation has made children unable to walk, speak, or understand their environment fully, and put a heavy emotional, physical and financial burden on their parents.

How many children does the family have?

According to Jeremy Damaris, a YouTuber, the family has eight children, five boys and three girls, with the three boys completely dependent on their mother for every aspect of daily life.

From bathing and feeding them to cleaning and carrying them, she provides round-the-clock care without much rest or outside help.

The constant demands make her tired, but she is still committed to giving her children the best care she can under the most difficult circumstances.

With two boys and all three girls healthy, the family’s pain is compounded by the fact that one daughter now has two children who are also suffering from the same condition.

What does Nakuru’s father do to earn a living?

This has raised troubling questions for families about the genetic or environmental causes of recurrent disability, adding to their fear and uncertainty about the future.

Their father, who is the sole breadwinner, earns a living by sharpening knives, charging only KSh 10 for each knife.

The work is mundane and poorly paid, leaving the family struggling to afford food, medical care, and basic necessities.

Their one-room house does not provide space, comfort or respect for a family of this size and need.

The Nakuru family is looking for help

In an emotional appeal, the family asked good Samaritans, religious groups, and charities to offer prayers, financial support, and physical support.
