Financial support from his family has enabled his son Rais, known for short as GK, to invest in businesses he likes.

TUKO.co.ke listed four businesses that he is publicly known to own:

George has shown his great love for the culture of three of Nairobi and has invested in the transport sector. He currently owns four popular PSVs operating under the name Raptor Family.

The name comes from its first matatu, the Raptor, which is currently under renovation.

However, George got off to a great start with his Money Fest trike, which initially toured the Ngong route before moving to Ongata Rongai and finally Embakasi.

He later bought Matrix, which quickly became one of the most popular matatu in Nairobi.

George proved his reputation as an investor by launching Mood, a modern 25-seater sedan, including a DJ studio and solar panels.

2. George Ruto’s sports company

The President previously spoke about George’s passion for football, stressing his advocacy for increased investment in the country’s sports sector.

As part of his mission, George is currently studying for a master’s degree in sports management in London.

George is associated with a sports project called 82 Sports, which uses various commercial systems.

One of their main activities is content creation, and the team recently traveled to Morocco for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The company also produces content about local soccer teams.

Additionally, 82 Sports is involved in organizing tournaments and providing sportswear solutions, including uniforms, practice wear, and team equipment, serving the needs of various soccer teams.

Jamhuri Soccer Academy of George, established in 2021, has quickly earned a reputation as a center for developing young soccer talents.

The school provides training for various age groups, from Under 7 to Under 20, with its top team competing in the National Division Two league.

The school aims to prepare players not only for success on the field but also in their daily lives.

Monitoring of the school on Instagram has grown to more than 1,300 members, while its Facebook page has nearly 1,000 members.

4. George Ruto’s clothing brand

Tisap Threads is a clothing brand related to George.

“Designed with the inspiration of the Kenyan heart. Bold, beautiful, and protective,” that’s what the slogan says.

According to the website, Tisap sells crop tops, boxers, hoodies, and t-shirts, among other products, at affordable prices.

For example, hoodies sell for around KSh 2,500, while tops start at KSh 2,000. With this in mind, Tisap is the official sponsor of Jamhuri Soccer Academy uniforms.

Is George Ruto a pilot?

In addition to his businesses, George is a pilot.

He recently posted an exciting video of himself piloting a helicopter, showing off his aerial skills.

One special piece, which showed a top view of the construction of the Talent Stadium, attracted many people who were amazed by his flying skills.
