Bishop John Njomo, the founder of the Jesus Christ Living Oasis Ministry church, disappeared on Monday, January 19, after leaving home for work.

The 48-year-old man, who was also a bodaboda driver, left home before eleven in the morning, saying he was on his way to pick up his regular customer.

However, he did not return home that evening, which left his family and the local community in deep worry.

Where did Njomo’s daughter get the bloody clothes?

His wife, Jane Muthoni, explained the ordeal in an interview with GTN News. She revealed that her husband’s regular customer was working in a hotel along the Ring Road.

“We went to check the place where he usually leaves his motorcycle, and the security guard there told us that Njomo had taken his motorcycle that day, went to do his work, returned it, and even paid him KSh 50 as was the agreement to protect it at night,” Muthoni explained.

Sadly, at 6am, their fifth grade daughter made a shocking discovery.

He found the t-shirt and jacket his father was wearing when he left home, both soaked in blood.

The discovery caused great consternation in the family, and the neighbors immediately began to search for the missing man.

“My daughter found the bloody clothes just outside the gate, she carried them and brought them into the house, calling me in great fear, saying that her father’s clothes were full of blood,” said the mother sadly.

They also expressed their concern about the increase in kidnapping cases, and urged the authorities to take decisive action and bring the perpetrators to justice.
