What action did NTSA take?

According to NTSA, both the driver and the conductor have been fired from the Sacco, and the driver’s license has also been revoked after he failed the retest.

“Report any incidents of dangerous driving on our roads by providing information such as the vehicle registration number, the location of the incident, as well as the date and time,” said the government body.

“To report any case, use NTSA’s official channels: X @ntsa_kenya or Facebook NTSA Kenya. We have a database. Once the license is revoked, the driver cannot join any Sacco. He must go back to school to develop himself,” they shared.

What did the Kenyans say about the incident?

Mitz: “The right step, but you need to have a central database of drivers and conductors who have committed misconduct. Otherwise they could easily join another sacco and remain unethical.”
