Pastor Victor Kanyari has opened up about his joint parenting arrangement with Tash, months after the death of his ex-wife, a gospel singer Betty Bayo.

Betty died in November while receiving treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital after suffering from a serious type of leukemia that caused serious complications.
She left behind her husband, Tash, and the two children she had with Kanyari, Sky Victor and Danivictor.
Are Kanyari and Tash raising children together?
After his death, questions arose about the future of the children.
Kanyari said in public that he was ready to adopt his children as their biological father, a move that caused tension on the internet at the time.
However, Tash, whose real name is Hiram Gitau, remained silent and continued to raise the children in their Edenville Estate residence, where they lived with Betty before her death.
The situation attracted more attention after Betty’s mother supported Kanyari in her efforts to take custody of the children, while allegations against Tash spread online.
Despite the initial tension, the two now seem to have reached a solid co-parenting arrangement.
In early January, Kanyari and Tash were seen together at the airport when they were receiving the children after a trip to England to visit friends and family.
Their appearance together sparked rumors that Kanyari was taking children to live with him in the new mansion he had previously claimed to have bought.
Touching on the issue while talking to bloggers, the preacher explained that the children still live with Tash, although he still has plans for them to live with him in the future.

He insisted that their relationship to raise children together has remained good despite the public scrutiny.
“The joint upbringing between me and Tash is not bad. People say that it is a joint upbringing between two men and that it is difficult, but so far I have not faced any challenges. Tash is part of the family. She also has other children, and we plan to bring them together to be one big and happy family,” said Kanyari.
Kanyari also explained why the much-talked about mansion is yet to be completed, saying that the process is still ongoing.
“I am still in the process of buying my KSh 90 million mansion. There are several procedures still going on, that’s why I haven’t invited anyone to see the house yet,” he added.

He said Betty opened up to him about the biggest challenges in her marriage, revealing that the relationship was allegedly on the verge of breaking up.
Her mother recalled that during the call, Betty sounded sad and tearfully asked in whose hands she was being left.
