KCSE 2025: Nairobi Father Celebrates Daughter for Passing Exam, Reveals Score

As the 2025 KCSE results continue to be received, a loving father has written a beautiful message of celebration after his daughter passed the national exam.

Education Secretary, Julius Ogamba, released the results of more than 996,000 candidates on Friday, January 9, and also explained how students will get their results.

Boni Manyala took to her Facebook page to celebrate her brilliant daughter’s outstanding performance, noting that she scored an impressive B+ in the 2025 KCSE.

Manyala said her daughter’s good results now pave the way for her to pursue her dream of studying law.

“Congratulations to our daughter, Phaustine Milele, on your great achievement of getting a perfect grade of B+! This is the beginning of your journey towards a law degree, and we could not be more proud. Keep shining and achieving excellence. We are very proud, our Chief Justice,” he wrote.

He also shared a picture of his results for each subject as follows: English (B), Kiswahili (A-), Mathematics (A), Biology (B), Physics (B-), History (A-), CRE (B+).

How did Phaustine pass the 2025 KCSE?

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Manyala’s daughter said she got these good results due to hard work, consistency and self-motivation that helped her in all her high school studies.

“I realized that I am a candidate and I should be more concerned about my results at the end of the year. I started by identifying my weak subjects and the areas where I had challenges in order to put a real plan of repetition in advance,” he said.

He added that he learned time management to avoid being overwhelmed, and focused on understanding concepts rather than memorizing.

He used to repeat himself frequently using previous years’ exams to understand the question pattern, which made his studies easier.

Phaustine said that self-motivation helped her a lot especially when the journey was difficult, and she also made time to participate in extracurricular activities to have a good balance.

He added that he prayed to God and put him first, hoping every day that he would bless the work of his hands.

He thanked his parents for being his biggest support and providing him with everything he needed.

He advised other candidates to start little by little and make self-discipline their friend as they prepare for the national exams.

Kisii High School student passes KCSE

In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported on a Kisii High School student who also passed the 2025 KCSE.

His mother, Wanja Mwaura, was very happy with the achievement, noting that the boy went through several challenges when he was away seeking treatment in his last year of high school.
