KCSE 2025: KNEC Denies 1,180 Candidates Their Results Following Allegations of Fraud

The Secretary of Education, Julius Ogamba, said that the students were implicated in cheating the exams.

Minister speaking Eldoret On Friday, January 9, when releasing the KCSE results, he noted that the ministry cannot be sympathetic to the cheating methods used by students to get good grades.

The results have been canceled after the completion of the investigation of cheating cases held during the examination period.

“I would like to reiterate our position regarding the integrity of the examinations. In November last year, we noted that there were incidents that were being investigated, and measures should be taken after the completion of the investigation. After the completion of the KCSE examination, 1,180 students were found to be involved in the violation of examination procedures. Therefore, and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, their examination results have been canceled,” said Ogamba.
