Tanzania stood firm but was defeated by the star’s only goal Real Madrid. The game almost ended with violent incidents after Tanzania strongly protested after being denied a penalty.
Morocco suffered a serious injury after Azzedine Ounahi arrived on the field wearing two protective balls.
Tanzania started the game on the front foot and should have scored within the first three minutes, but Saimon Msuva headed wide from Abdul Suleiman’s cross.
On the other hand, Ismael Saibari saved the ball from Hussein Masalanga. Ibrahim Hamad was the first player to enter the referee’s book after fouling Brahim Diaz.
Saibari thought he had scored the first goal in the 15th minute after scoring a header from a free kick, but the ball was ruled out for offside.
Morocco received unfounded penalties after Masalanga collided with Ayoub El Kaabi in the middle of the field in the 20th minute.
Taifa Stars continued to disappoint the hosts as El Kaabi failed to take some of the half chances they had in the first half.

After the break, Morocco stepped on the gas, but Masalanga stood firm again, preventing Abde Ezzalzouli from getting close to the goal.
Then, against the play, Mohamed Hussein choked Yassine Bonou in the hands, who failed to hold the ball. The rebound fell gently to Fei Toto, but the Azam star failed to prevent his shot from going down in Tanzania’s biggest chance in the game.
