According to Daily Mail, Nigerian president Bola Tinubu had confirmed that he had spoken to Joshua’s family.

Tinubu confirmed the death of two of Joshua’s friends, Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, noting that the tragedy cast a heavy shadow over the festive season.
“I am deeply sorry for the tragic accident on the Lagos-Ibadan highway, which killed two important people and left you injured. This tragedy casts a heavy shadow over this season.”
The president of Nigeria noted that the athlete had an emotional burden about the terrible incident.
“I am sorry for you and your family as you bear the emotional weight of this terrible event. As an athlete, you have shown courage, discipline, and unwavering love for our country. These are qualities that have made you a source of national pride.”
Tinubu wished the famous athlete a speedy recovery.

In a subsequent tweet, the Nigerian president revealed that he had spoken to Joshua and was assured that the athlete was receiving the highest level of care and treatment.
“I have spoken to AJ to offer my personal condolences on the death of two of his close associates, Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami in a recent accident. I wished him a full and speedy recovery, and prayed with him. AJ assured me that he is receiving the best care.”
He also spoke to Joshua’s mother and prayed with her, assuring netizens that the boxing star would receive the best possible treatment.
