Uhuru Kenyatta Makes a Huge Donation to Help a Musician Suffering from Njeru Thiga: “God Bless You”

The artist was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on the adrenal gland.

According to the Mayo Clinic, adrenal cancer is a very rare malignant tumor that starts in the outer layer of one of the adrenal glands.

What disease does Njeru Thiga have?

These glands sit above each kidney and produce important hormones that control blood pressure, metabolism, stress response, and various body processes.

Although rare, this cancer can occur at any age but is more common in young children under 5 years of age and adults aged 40-50 years.

Thiga sought help from Kenyans collecting money so that he could travel to India for treatment.

Friday, December 19, Thiga left Kenya for India.

He later uploaded a photo at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with his wife and a sponsor Muraya peanuts.

“There are common friends, there is family, and then there are friends who become family. What a blessing! My wife and I could have had a hard time here in India. Help me thank Karangu,” he wrote.

The next day, Karangu announced that Thiga had already started treatment.

“A lot of things can happen in 24 hours. By the grace of God, my brother Njeru Thiga started taking his medicine here in India early this morning. This is a great miracle that happened this year because last Saturday, we were all stuck, we don’t know where to start, but Jehovah has made a way for us. We trust God for a quick healing. God bless you all with prayers and help,” he wrote.

How much did Uhuru Kenyatta give to help Njeru Thiga?

On Monday, December 22, Thiga announced that Uhuru had sent him a large donation.

“Help me thank Uhuru for the great support of 200 thousand shillings he gave me through my friend Professor Olive Mugenda. We do not take this for granted. May the Lord bless and protect you. Thank you very much,” he wrote.

What did Kenyans do when they saw Uhuru?

In other news, a video that went viral showed Uhuru’s cars on a Nairobi highway, where happy motorists spotted his black Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series V8 and waved enthusiastically.

Uhuru, who is known to favor this model over the newer 300 series, waved through the tinted front windows.

As his car was speeding, a Prado SUV security car with a bull bar pulled up close, with the appearance of protection.
