Photos shared by Kapseret Member of Parliament, Oscar SudiMonday, December 22, showed Ruto with his son, George Kimutai, and his adopted daughter, Nadia.

The national leader was in the county for the Baringo Cultural Festival and also participated in the Kimalel goat auction.

“The event highlighted the culture of the area and the power of animal husbandry. The president’s support stimulates economic growth, preserves traditions and increases tourism in the Kerio region. It is a great benefit to the community, promoting peace and prosperity in the Kerio Valley region,” Sudi wrote.

Did Ruto wear clothes similar to George?

Ruto, when he was Deputy President, adopted Nadia as his adopted daughter in 2015 while visiting the Madre Ippolata Children’s Center in Machakos County.

He had been invited to help the center, managed by Catholic sisters, in fundraising efforts.

The incident was very touching when Ruto was informed about the baby that the sisters saved after he was found buried alive and left to die.

Being deeply touched by the sad story, Ruto decided to welcome the child into his family through adoption.

He named her Nadia Cherono, to honor her mother.

One of the photos shared showed the president and his son wearing matching outfits.

Ruto was wearing formal black trousers, a white shirt and black shoes.

He completed his look with a black fedora hat and walking stick.

George also wore a white shirt but decided on a more casual style by wearing cargo pants and sports shoes.

His older sister walked beside him. Nadia wore blue jeans and a black T-shirt with a white collar.

Another photo showed George talking to Sudi, while the two seemed to be enjoying their conversation with laughter.
